CBSC/Iowa Western Youth Soccer Camps provide players and teams with a competitive and educational experience. Our goal is to teach the game by building fundamentals that apply to players at all levels. Campers will be run through Division I drills designed to develop skills, vision, and competency. All drills and activities are geared to prepare each camper at their specific age for competition at the highest level.

Campers are introduced to the very basic elements of the game. Sessions are composed of fun, imaginative activities that teach soccer's fundamentals of dribbling, shooting, and passing. The goal is for the player to fall in love with the sport and the ball in a fun, friendly environment.

Four 30-min sessions with Iowa Western Camp Staff Coaches
Sessions are based on teaching fundamentals through fun activity based games. Sessions include fundamental skill instruction, skill-building activities, and small-sided games. Throughout the week players will learn fundamental skills such as dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting, defending, and shielding. The emphasis of each session is designed for individual skill development, improvement of basic fundamentals, and application of technique in small-sided games. The goal is for players to enhance their overall skill acquisition in a fun, competitive environment.
